The Tortoise Conservancy's mission with Your Help is to establish over 10,000 acres as Wildlife Sanctuaries & Tortoise Preserves across Florida by 2035. Today your gift will go toward supporting our Upper Suwannee Wildlife Education Center in Live Oak, FL, and the cost of acquiring other suitable land tracts for our Wildlife Sanctuaries & Gopher Tortoise Preserves.

Our long-term goal is to become completely self-sustaining as an organization through tortoise recipient site fees as tortoises are brought under our care.  By doing so we will become less dependent on donations for future land acquisition, making your gift today multiply itself exponentially with the proceeds we will collect from the fees levied on developers who are trying to destroy their habitats.  🦋 🐢
